DALMORE 18-year-old 43%
Dalmore 18-year-old, bottled at 43% vol., The Dalmore distillery offers us a powerful and generous single malt. Its bold and fleshy nose opens with traces of sulfur followed by intense notes of orange and red berries. A powerful and plentiful blend of fruit mixed with malt with notes of oak and spices. Divine.
THE BRAND
Dalmore, owners the oldest stills in the Highlands, one of them has been in operation since 1874. Different “spirit stills” are used and this unique combination makes it possible for this distillery to obtain a very balanced single malt with incredible complexity. To age their whisky, Dalmore largely uses sherry casks of a wide variety : Oloroso, Amoroso, Mathusalem (from the Gonzales Byass bodega in Andalusia). An exceptional partnership in every way. Once the whisky has reached maturity, the different types of casks are assembled to give birth to one of the expressions of their range, the final product resting for an additional period of four months in order to promote the blend and the harmony of the flavours.
