BUSHMILLS 10 year-old 40%
The Bushmills 10-year-old whisky is an iconic expression crafted with triple distillation, following the tradition of Old Bushmills Distillery. It is primarily matured in American oak barrels (Bourbon barrels) with a touch of malt aged in European oak Sherry butts.
Indulge in the finesse of Bushmills 10-year-old, cherished by connoisseurs worldwide. Its robust yet smooth and supple character perfectly embodies the Irish spirit. The distillery's distinctive malt is enhanced by the maturation in Bourbon barrels, imparting a delightful and vibrant freshness with delicate notes of vanilla and honey, complemented by hints of spices from the Sherry casks.
Nose: Elegant and perfectly balanced, it offers finesse and smoothness with notes of malted cereals, citrus (lemon), and licorice. Upon airing, floral nuances, clover, and vanilla also come through.
Palate: Smooth and slightly creamy, true to what the nose promises. Subtle woody presence is discovered, along with notes of almond, honey, and melted chocolate.
Final: Long, providing a beautiful herbaceous dryness that complements the tasting experience.
THE BRAND
Bushmills is the world's oldest licensed distillery since 1608. Located near the northern coast of Ireland, Bushmills is also a village where friends, neighbors, and families work at the distillery. With triple distillation of barley, Bushmills ages its whiskies in a wide variety of casks from different origins while preserving the Irish character of whiskey. Water is sourced from the nearby River Bush. As the Master Distiller aptly states, "We're not good because we're old, we're old because we're good." Thus, it is clear that Bushmills is an integral part of the global spirits landscape.
