For the year 2023, the launch of a 17-year-old expression adds a unique and exceptional touch to the season! An intense, fresh, and enjoyable single malt, always crafted from a blend of first-fill bourbon casks and second-fill Sherry Hogsheads.
Nose: Fruity and sweet. Green apple and orchard fruit notes, buttery caramel, and a hint of toasted oak.
Palate: Creamy and intense. Almond and creamy vanilla notes.
Finish: Sweet and lingering. Flavors of vanilla and cinnamon.
Arran, distinguished by its refinements in a wide variety of barrels that have contained wine (from Champagne, Margaux or Marsala), but also eaux-de-vie (cognac, calvados). The distillery also has the particularity of producing whisky made from forgotten barley varieties, as well as a series of vintage single casks often bottled in the cask. Produced on an island to the west of the Scottish mainland, its style resembles that of a Highland whisky.
