EDRADOUR 14-year-old Grand Arome Rum Cask 60%
This Edradour single malt was aged for 14 years in a Savanna rum cask before being bottled at its original strength.
It has a beautiful golden color and offers a fruity and intense profile where the influence of rum (aromas of exotic fruits and vanilla) blends perfectly with the typical fruit and cereal notes of the Edradour distillery.
Nose: Smooth with notes of exotic fruits.
Palate: Intense and fruity, with flavors of bananas, honey, and spices.
THE BRAND
The Edradour distillery is above all recognized for the unique style of its single malt which is exported throughout the world. Andrew Symington, owner of the distillery, has embarked on specific refinements that are more original than ever, and the new expressions have revolutionized the somewhat outdated image. Under the leadership of Iain Henderson, former director of Laphroaig, Edradour has been producing since late 2002 a second very peaty single malt called Ballechin from the old distillery of the region.
