Rum & Cane French Overseas XO is an extra old French overseas rum (XO) was distilled at the Rivière du Mât distillery in Reunion and at the Le Galion distillery in Martinique, before being aged in barrels of American and French white oak, for a great bold finish. . This expression celebrates the true essence of its terroir and is only bottled at the peak of its maturity, for a rich, floral yet fruity taste experience for discerning palates.
Nose: Cane sugar and cinnamon evolving into a sweet crème caramel.
Palate: Raisins with liquorice, tropical fruits.
Finish: Superb with the perfect mix of agricultural rums and molasses.
THE BRAND
Rum & Cane was born from a story of friendship between its two founders, Scott Watson and Brian Woods. Both from the world of Spirits and passionate about Rum, they decided to go in search of exceptional barrels in the spirit of London "Merchants". During their travels, which take them to the four corners of the world, they begin to build up a stock by selecting their barrels one by one. Brought back to their cellars in Scotland, the barrels are kept until full maturity, then blended to offer an exploration of the terroirs of Rum. Their rums have been awarded many times.
