R.L.SEALE'S 10 Year as the name suggests is a rum produced by the owner of the Foursquare Distillery in Barbados. This superb rum is the result of a blend of ten 10-year-old rums that have been aged in oak casks and then refined in barrels that have contained Brandy. The rum is presented in a rather original bottle reminiscent of piracy.
Nose : Notes of exotic fruits, cinnamon, vanilla, liquorice.
Palate : Balanced with fruit and wood, notes of exotic fruits with caramel and vanilla to finish.
Finish : Spicy and woody touches with vanilla and caramel.
THE BRAND
The Foursquare distillery is now one of the most modern distilleries in the world. It is owned by the Seale family who have been living in Barbados since 1926 as traders. It produces a light rum in a three column stills, and another, more powerful, in an iron still. They produce the best spiced rum in the world, as well as white rum, dark rum and old rum.
