Glendronach Traditionally Peated, this single malt, aged in the best Pedro Ximénez sherry and Port casks, is lightly peated. It combines the robustness of the highlands, the corpulent and rich character typical of this distillery and an expressive peat.

It pays homage to the traditional method of drying malted barley, used during the early years of operations at this prestigious Glendronach distillery.

THE BRAND

The Glendronach Distillery is located on the edge of Speyside on the East Coast at Dronach Burn in the Deveron region. It was created by a union, led by James Allardice in 1826, having received the right to distill at the beginning of the 19th century thanks to the Duke of Gordon. The distillery has used the same distillation methods since the beginning of its activity, producing Single Malts aged in high quality sherry casks. Following numerous changes of ownership until it closed in 1996, until the owners of Benriach bought the Glendronach distillery in 2008, and thus started producing a peated single malt in small quantities.
