Millonario 10 years is a Peruvian molasses rum composed of two thirds of rums aged for 6 years in barrels used only once to age bourbon at the Heaven Hill distillery in Kentucky. The remaining third was entirely aged in ex oloroso sherry casks, the same ones used for the Millonario 15 year old Solera and the XO.
Color: Amber gold.
Nose: Fruity and full of citrus fruits (orange, mandarin), it evolves into gourmet notes of tea and vanilla.
Taste: Gourmet and oily, on honey, raisins with a woody side.
Finish: Long and persistent on the palate with nuts, chocolate and plum.
