

Bottled in a bottle shaped like a cruchon, Tullamore Dew is a blend based on pure pot still whiskey, that is to say based on a whiskey composed and malted barley and malted barley. This style, unique to Ireland, gives it a subtle and original taste, almost apart.
Nose: Sweet notes of cereals, lemon and red berry juice; caramelized and vanilla notes. Grassy and cedar flavours.
Taste: Elegant, smooth and balanced. Vanilla, oaky and fruity flavours (banana), nuanced by the aromas of Oloroso sherry.
Finish: Short and intense. Reveals malting barley and cereals. Harmonious.
The distillery was created in 1829. Under the direction of Daniel Edmund Williams it experienced a considerable development hence also the initials DEW. It is surely one of the most recognized Irish blend brands in the world. Over the years this distillery has become part of the Scottish group William Grant & Sons.
