Chantal Comte Rhum Vieux L'arbre du Voyageur 63%
The L’Arbre du Voyageur blend takes us to new horizons. This time, Chantal Comte has chosen the island of Madeira, a jewel emerging from the Atlantic Ocean. This small island cultivates the Roxa sugar cane on 150 hectares of land, which, under the influence of a warm climate, cold sea, and iodized winds, gives us this sweet nectar.
Nose: A virile and complex blend of sweet spices, blond tobacco leaves, with notes of golden brioche and butter.
Palate: This rum stands out for its structure, complexity, and power. The spicy character is confirmed, accompanied by a subtle woody touch. The tannins are elegant and fine, offering great complexity with notes of spices and citrus, as well as an exceptional length. A true gem!
Serving Tip: To appreciate the rare power of this cask-strength rum, serve it at room temperature in a spirits glass. Take a few drops in your mouth, keep your mouth closed, then round it with your saliva to fully enjoy the intensity of its aromatic palette.
Pairing: Pair this rum with a dark chocolate bar from Éric Comte, a chocolate cake from Pierre Hermé, or elevate the experience with a high-quality Havana cigar.
