

Black Mountain Single Malt Bio is the first single malt produced in partnership with a brewer and a distiller from Occitania. The barley used is 100% organic. The use of a double distillation in a Charentais still made it possible to obtain a very rich distillate, with fruit and pastry notes. Half of the distillate aged in new oak barrels, the other in Gascon spirit barrels. We have an aromatic profile very rich in fruit, with spicy and toasted notes.
Limited series.
Nose : Malt then fruit, apple, pear, a hint of lemon and spices.
Palate : Gourmet, woody with fruit in syrup.
Finish : Persistent with its notes of toast, cereals, a hint of burnt.
The Black Mountain brand began in 2011, creating award-winning blended whiskies which then inspired the plans for a distillery on the borders of the Black Mountain in the Haut Languedoc regional natural park. During the construction of this distillery, they continue to assemble their imported blended whiskies, adjusting them with black mountain water, and refining in hand selecting barrels on site.
