Founded in 1923, the Yamazaki Whisky Distillery is located in the Yamazaki Valley in Japan, an ideal place for whisky production thanks to the quality of the water and the humidity. It was created by Shinjiro Torii as the first whisky distillery in Japan. The distillery belongs to the Suntory group.
