Four Roses is a distillery located in Kentucky in the United States. It was created in 1988 by Paul Jones Jr and today it is one of the most famous bourbon distilleries in the world. It was one of the only American distilleries to have been authorized to produce during the years of Prohibition, for "pharmaceutical use", which generated enthusiasm and success for bourbon and a bright future for Four Roses. Bought by Canadians in 1943, Italians in 2001 and finally by the Japanese in 2002, the distillery has managed to preserve its know-how and produces a bourbon appreciated by American, European and Japanese amateurs.
