ROYAL BRACKLA

The Royal Brackla distillery was founded in 1812 by Captain William Fraser of Brackla who gave it his name. In the 19th century, it was one of three distilleries to be granted the royal distinction by King William IV and then Queen Victoria in 1838. It now belongs to the Bacardi group and is the most important distillery of its subsidiary John Dewar & Sounds.
