VARELA HERMANOS

Varela Hermanos is a rum distillery founded in 1908 in Panama, in Herrera. In 1936, the founders began the distillation of sugar cane juice intended for the manufacture of spirits. This family company is managed by the 3rd generation of don José Valera Blanco, the founder. It primarily distils rums from molasses with column stills and uses American oak barrels for aging.
