Costa Rica is the place to grow sugar cane. Its warm and humid climate offers ideal conditions for the production of high quality rum. It is in this idyllic place that the Centenario distillery produces its rum with the greatest care and respect for tradition. Centenario 20 YO Fundacion is the first of the range to be raised in solera system. This process, much appreciated by the creators of rum of Spanish tradition, gives the rum a sweet and greedy register, almost pastry. The fruity accents are enhanced by spicy notes. Caramel, vanilla and oak are the most easily identifiable aromas of this rum with a huge aromatic panel. Centanrio 20 YO will be tasted as a digestive and will go perfectly with a dessert.
Colour: Amber with mahogany reflections.
Nose: Complex and smooth on very ripe fruit notes such as cherry, pineapple or apple. Spicy and oaky notes appear. The pastry side is remarkable.
Palate: Smooth and smooth, it starts with strong notes of vanilla and candied orange then evolves on dark chocolate, leather and caramel.
Finish: Long and tasty, it is marked by spicy aromas with ripe fruits and a hint of butter.
