DOMAINE DE TARIQUET Bas Armagnac - Montreur d'Ours 45,5%
Montreur d'Ours, an aged Bas Armagnac from the Domaine de Tariquet pays tribute to the origins of the Grassa-Artaud family, whose ancestors were bear showers during the reign of Napoleon III. Made exclusively from the property's vines, it is distilled in a traditional wood-fired still. Montreur d'Ours is made from 70% Plant de Graisse grape variety and 30% Ugni Blanc and Baco. It has been aged in barrels from 10 to 20 years with extraordinary amplitude and tremendous elegance, this Bas Armagnac develops with finesse and aromatic power.
It is presented in a superb wooden box made by a local craftsman with pine from the forest of Gascony.

LA MARQUE
The Domaine de Tariquet is located in Eauze, in the Gers countryside. With 1125 hectares of land, the estate is the largest white wine producer in France. The Domaine de Tariquet is above all a family affair, an adventure which over the years has won numerous prizes and enjoyed great international notoriety. The company now exports more than 50% of its production, notably to England, Germany, Canada and Japan. The success of Tariquet is also akin to the Bas Armagnac produced from 2 traditional wood-heated stills.
