The Favorite Vintage 2014 is an exceptional old agricultural rum, aged for 8 years in ex-bourbon cask and extracted in 2022. From a careful selection of the best oak barrels by the distillery experts, this rum has a sumptuous amber color.
Bottled without dilution, it offers a remarkable aromatic richness with notes of cooked fruits, spices and elegant oak.
The Favorite takes an eco-friendly approach by using recycled packaging materials based on sugar cane, hemp and flax fibres.
Nose: Spicy and greedy
Taste: Supple, greedy with toasted notes and cooked fruits.
Finish: Elegant with a touch of ripe fruit and vanilla.
THE BRAND
The Habitation La Favorite was founded in 1842 as a sugar production site. In 1905, the estate was bought by the Dormoy family, and today the third generation perpetuates this beautiful family adventure. The Favorite is today one of the few independent distilleries present in the West Indies.

THE DEALER
The Brothers of the coast are independent importers and bottlers of products transported exclusively by sail. The concept is to develop a fleet of cargo sailboats offering an alternative to current transport, and thus limiting their environmental footprint. The rum drums are loaded on the spot and travel with the wind aboard the schooner TRES HOMBRES, benefiting from an exceptional organoleptic evolution thanks to a dynamic aging. The barrels are then brought to their cellar in Saint Etienne to be bottled by hand.
