MIDLETON

The Midleton Distillery was founded in 1825 in County Cork, Ireland by the Murphy brothers. It is one of the most important whisky distilleries, due to its size and reputation. In 1966, it merged with other distilleries to form the Irish Distillers group. Midleton produces the brands Jameson, Powers, Midleton but also Redbreast, Green Spot, Yellow Spot, adding Tullamore Dew in 2010. The distillery has belonged to the Pernot-Ricard group since 1988.
