BRENNE 10 Year 48%
Brenne 10 year is a French single malt and is produced from a small series of hand-selected casks. It is distilled in a traditional Charentais still made from organic barley, and aged in new Limousin oak and cognac barrels. This annual limited edition has the notes of the classic version just with more depth.
Nose : Fruity with hints of blueberries.
Palate : Smooth, fruity, with notes of vanilla, dried fruits, sweet peppers and dark chocolate.
Finish : Delicate, elegant with juicy fruits.
The farm-distillery was founded in 1920 for the manufacture of “eaux-de-vie" then taken over by the former Ballerien Allison Parc in the heart of Cognac. Marketed for the first time in 2012 in New York, their whisky was quickly rewarded for its elegance of its French terroir and above all for its new style of single malt. Their whiskies are produced from organic barley grown on their farm which is distilled in a traditional Charentais still.
